    Before your first appointment, we welcome you to browse our website to learn more about the services and treatments we offer and what sets our dental practice apart from others. We also encourage you to read through this page to learn more about how to prepare and what you can expect at your first appointment with us.

    What To Bring to Your First Appointment

    To help our office staff complete your patient file, we ask that you bring the following documents and information to your first appointment:

    • Identification
    • Your dental health insurance identification card or policy if you would like us to bill your insurance on your behalf.
    • New patient forms (available on our website or in our office to complete at the time of your appointment)
    • Medical history and a list of your current medications and supplements

    If you plan to fill out your new patient forms in our office at the time of your appointment, we recommend arriving for your appointment a few minutes earlier to ensure you have ample time to complete this paperwork.

    Additionally, all patients who are under the age of 18 should be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian.

    What To Expect During Your First Visit

    During your first visit, we take special care to ensure you become thoroughly acquainted with our office and dental practice. We want you to feel comfortable with the care you are receiving and have all your questions answered.

    During your first appointment, our dentists work to establish a solid baseline of your dental and general health, getting acquainted with your medical and dental records and examining your teeth and gums. We also talk with you about any past or present concerns you might have with your oral health and your current oral health goals so that we can set you up with an appropriate treatment plan designed to meet your dental care needs while helping you achieve your smile goals.

    Depending on why you are visiting Livermore Dental Spa for the first time, the exact components of your appointment might vary. For example, appointments for a routine examination and cleaning differ from the first appointments needed for addressing specific concerns such as pain, periodontal disease or cosmetic treatments.

    Regardless of the type of new patient appointment for which you are scheduled, our team ensures you are informed about what to expect and the next steps for your dental care.

    We accept all major PPO dental insurance plans, and we also offer financing solutions for those without insurance.     Frequently Asked Questions
    Approvals are valid for 120 days. Once that time period expires, you are welcome to reapply.
    If you are eligible for an increase, you may request this through the Cherry Patient Portal. Increased approval amount and decision are subject to eligibility. If you do not see the button to "request an increase," it means you are ineligible for an increase at this time.
    Yes, Cherry does not have any prepayment penalties. If you have interest and pay off early, you’ll even avoid some of that interest.
    No, if you’re eligible for a 0% APR offer, it doesn’t expire for the current approval. For example: If you were approved for a 6 month term with 0% APR, this promotion is valid until the end of term as long as you stay current with your payments.
    Once you input your purchase price, you’ll be provided with the options you have for down payment. It is due when the practice confirms they will need the funds in order to move forward with your services. Remember to bring your bank issued debit or credit card* when you are ready for checkout.

    *Making payments via Pre-Paid Debit Card or Credit Card will result in a 2.99% processing fee. There is no processing fee for making a down payment with a traditional Debit Card.

    We defer to the refund policies put in place by Livermore Dental Spa, Dental Office of Dr. Peggy Chuang and cannot initiate a refund without their approval.

    Once Livermore Dental Spa, Dental Office of Dr. Peggy Chuang authorizes a refund we will deposit the refunded amount (full or partial) into your account. Your Cherry account status and loan balance are adjusted accordingly.

    If a partial refund is issued, your loan amount will be adjusted to reflect your new remaining balance. If a refund is issued in full, any payments made on your loan will be returned to you.
    Yes, Cherry may report the status of our borrowers’ accounts to Equifax, one of the major credit bureaus.
    Cherry is required to report all payment history to the credit bureaus. This means we may also report late payments, missed payments, or other deliquencies on your account to the credit bureaus.

    Making an Appointment

    It is easy to make an appointment for your initial examination and dental treatments with Livermore Dental Spa. Simply call 925-344-3993 and one of our friendly team members will be happy to assist you. If you schedule an appointment and something comes up, please call and cancel 24 hours in advance so that we can accommodate other patient requests.

    What to Expect

    Walk into our lobby where you will be greeted by our friendly team. We will provide you with new patient paperwork that includes a health questionnaire, request for your insurance information and contact information. We will also provide you with information to familiarize you with our office and how we handle things like patient privacy.

    Initial Examination

    Initial Examination

    Your initial dental exam will take around one hour. The experienced team at Livermore Dental Spa will ask you questions, get to know your oral hygiene routine, and listen to your health concerns. We believe in educating patients and empowering them to make good choices to improve their oral health. We will demonstrate how to properly care for your teeth and make additional suggestions as needed. Our dental hygienist will clean your teeth then Dr. Peggy will complete your examination and make recommendations for proposed dental treatments.

    Pain Concerns

    We work to ensure our patients feel comfortable, and that includes minimizing their pain as much as possible. If you are undergoing a dental procedure, Dr. Peggy will meet with you to discuss your pain tolerance and create a plan for pain management. Working together, we will treat your dental health problems in a way that minimizes pain and enables you to get back to your life faster.
